When you prep food for yourself, you will want to talk with your doctor about any limitations that you may have concerning your diet while you are recovering. If you know what you can and cannot eat, you can get your food ready for the time that you will be healing.

There may be a diet that you can follow before you go into surgery or even an exercise regimen that can prepare your body for the surgery. Consult with your doctor and your surgeon to ensure that you are doing everything you can do to prepare for your surgery.
